  1. Eat a primarily vegetarian diet - eat 7 - 10 servings of nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables every day. You may want to use a Vita-Mix blender to made blended juices and smoothies.

  2. Don't eat seared meat, it creates heterocyclic amines (carcinogens)

  3. Don't eat nitrates in processed meat. They are changed to nitrosamines in the stomach (carcinogens)

  4. Minimize meat in the diet. Women who eat meat every day have over a 300% increase in breast cancer. Meat contains high iron levels. Most of this iron is absorbed. Iron is a potent generator of free radicals.

  5. Eliminate bad "supermarket oils" Oils make a difference. Omega 6 oils (soy, safflower, sunflower, peanut, corn, canola, etc.) stimulate PG2 Prostaglandin - inflammatory substance which activates dormant breast cancer cells and produces active cancer. The average american is consuming 50 times more Omega 6 fats than they should.
    The government and nutritionists have told us that they prevent heart attacks and that we should consume more vegetable oils. Not only does it increase breast cancer, it increases overall inflammation in the body and significantly aggravates atherosclerosis. Take fish oil or cod liver oil, make your own salad dressing of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

  6. Vitamin deficiency dramatically increases your risk of breast cancer. Particularly a deficiency in
    B12
    Vitamin E
    Selenium
    Folic Acid

    If you supplement with Vitamin E and Selenium you can reduce breast cancer incidence 60%.
    If you add other antioxidants and change your diet closer to a vegetable-based diet and if you eat meat, eat only mercury-free fish and white meat in moderation -

Squalene and the Swine Flu H1N1 Vaccination

Squalene is the adjuvant that drug makers are adding to the vaccine because it will stimulate the immune system, hoping that the immune system will then see the "killed" virus and make antibodies.
This has never been approved by the FDA.

Squalene is not a problem when injested.
Squalene causes horrible problems when it is INJECTED.

Squalene was given in the first Gulf War and was responsible for 20,000 hospitalizations for adverse effects.

What Squalene Does to Humans
Your immune system recognizes squalene as an oil molecule native to your body. It is found throughout your nervous system and brain. In fact, you can consume squalene in olive oil and not only will your immune system recognize it, you will also reap the benefits of its antioxidant properties.

A study conducted at Tulane Medical School and published in the February 2000 issue of Experimental Molecular Pathology included these stunning statistics:
“ … the substantial majority (95%) of overtly ill deployed GWS patients had antibodies to squalene. All (100%) GWS patients immunized for service in Desert Shield/Desert Storm who did not deploy, but had the same signs and symptoms as those who did deploy, had antibodies to squalene.
In contrast, none (0%) of the deployed Persian Gulf veterans not showing signs and symptoms of GWS have antibodies to squalene. Neither patients with idiopathic autoimmune disease nor healthy controls had detectable serum antibodies to squalene. The majority of symptomatic GWS patients had serum antibodies to squalene.”[xi]

“… this adjuvant [squalene] contributed to the cascade of reactions called "Gulf War Syndrome," documented in the soldiers involved in the Gulf War.

Suffering from IBS - Alternative Approach?

abdominal cramping, diarrhea, bloating and gas. My
doctor has me on two different drugs, but I was wondering
what the alternative approaches might be.

Answer: Drugs are seldom a solution to anything, and
there are always better alternatives. While everyone has
digestive disturbances at times, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)
now affects about one out of five Americans—an
epidemic to say the least. While drugs may alleviate your
symptoms, they do nothing to eliminate the causes, and
of course, drugs are toxic and do long-term damage to
your health.


In fact, two of the most widely used drugs
have serious side effects, including severe constipation
or diarrhea and decreased blood flow to the colon, which
may lead to even more digestive problems and diseases.

We all have to understand that prescription drugs are virtually
always a poor option for any health problem. Much more than an inconvenience with unpleasant
symptoms, IBS has a host of other ramifications including impaired digestion and nutrient absorption along with the creation of toxins and infections in the gut.

This results in deficiency and toxicity, the two causes of all disease.

In my experience, a combination of dietary and lifestyle changes along with high quality supplements work quite well to eliminate the problem.
Perhaps the largest single cause of IBS is the irresponsible use of antibiotics and other prescription drugs by our physicians. This creates abnormal flora in the digestive
system, upsetting the bacterial balance in the intestines. In turn, this results in maldigestion, tissue damage, malabsorption, the creation of dangerous toxins and IBS.

The first thing to do is stop eating the junk that passes for food in our supermarkets. Stay away from sugar, alcohol, caffeine and all fried foods. Switch to a primarily plant food diet, rich in fresh fruits, vegetables and grains.

Stay away from unhealthy oils (all supermarket oils) and consume only high-quality (the quality is critical) olive, flax, coconut and fish oils. Do not consume any foods you know you are allergic to. Each allergic reaction will irritate your gut for days. If you are not certain what you might be allergic to, stay away from common allergens such as dairy, gluten-containing grains
(wheat, rye, and barley), corn, soy, yeast, eggs and nuts.
Do proper food combining.


Do not mix starchy foods with protein foods as most Americans do—the standard meat and
potatoes diet or pancakes and eggs for breakfast. When taken together, this slows the digestion, leading to bacterial growth that can colonize in the stomach lining and
cause digestive disturbances.


Do not drink a lot of fluids with your meal, as this can dilute the stomach acid and
make digestion less efficient. Lastly, get on a good supplement program to support
your digestive system.

Natural Cure for MRSA and Other Skin & Wound Infections

According to Russell Blaylock, MD, the best treatment for all wounds, even those infected with MRSA is a 50:50 mix of Hydrogen Peroxide:Betadine (Povidone Iodine).

Buy these two items at any drugstore or Wal-Mart and keep them on hand.


Mix the two in equal parts and flood the wound or soak the wound the best you can.

Dr. Blaylock used this extensively ever since he was a resident in neurosurgery. Mix half hydrogen peroxide with half betadine. Make up enough to use for each treatment. "Hydrogen peroxide and betadine will kill just about any organism and known virus, no organism can develop resistance to it," said Dr. Blaylock in an interview with Raymond Francis, Beyond Health.


Dr. Blaylock used this on all surgical wounds he encountered, even those that went very deep into the spine.


You will notice bubbling as the Hydrogen Peroxide debrides ( remove dead, contaminated or adherent tissue)the wound. Put some betadine on a bandage and cover the wound. Repeat a 3 or 4 times during the day.

Dr. Blaylock said, "I never had a wound that wouldn't heal. It always cleared the infection immediately. In fact I could close the wound primarily, which is almost never done in surgery. It would sterilize the wound so completely that you could close the wound primarily. I never had a wound re-infected after treatement with than. It is something anyone can do."


MRSA is resistant to antibiotics, but it is not resistant to antiseptics.

This is the most powerful antiseptic.

Usually within a week of treatment most wounds should be clean.


Raymond Francis say improve overall health and immunity by getting off sugar, processed oils, white flour and get on a good program of supplements like Vitamin C.

You shouldn't have these infections if your immune system is doing its job.


Another thing Dr. Blaylock suggested is Beta Glucan (purchase at Vitacost). It stimulates your cellular immunity and that's what is used mainly to fight bacteria.

The other thing is Vitamin D3. In high concentrations Vitamin D causes your body to secrete anti microbial peptides which fight bacteria. Most people as they get older get severly Vitamin D deficient, so it takes 5,000 - 10,000 U of vitamin D for a few weeks, then cut back to 2,000 - 5,000 units of D3 per day.

Beta glucan plus D3 can drastically improve your immunce system, but you need to cut out sugar, high fructose corn syrup etc.

Bacteria live off sugar.

That's why diabetics are so easily infected, because their tissues are filled with sugar. Sugar suppresses the immune system.

About 70 percent of U.S. children have low levels of vitamin D, which puts them at higher risk for bone and heart disease, researchers said today.

"We expected the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency would be high, but the magnitude of the problem nationwide was shocking," said Dr. Juhi Kumar of Children's Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center.
Cases of rickets, a bone disease in infants caused by low vitamin D levels, have also been increasing, other research shows.
The new finding, from a nationwide study, adds to growing evidence that children as well as many adults also lack the vitamin.

Most Americans are Lacking Vitamin D

Three-quarters of U.S. teens and adults are deficient in vitamin D, the so-called "sunshine vitamin" whose deficits are increasingly blamed for everything from cancer and heart disease to diabetes, according to new research.

Between 1988 and 1994, 45 percent of 18,883 people (who were examined as part of the federal government's National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey) had 30 nanograms per milliliter or more of Vitamin D.

A decade later, just 23 percent of 13,369 of those surveyed had at least that amount.

One of the most abundant minerals in the human body, sulfur is absolutely necessary for normal growth and repair. A component of several amino acids, certain vitamins and coenzymes, insulin and bile acids, sulfur is present in enzymes and proteins, especially in the skin, nails and hair.
It is also an important part of the cartilage which protects our joints, preventing arthritic pain. Whereas glucosamine is used to make up the building blocks of joint cartilage, these building blocks are linked together in chains by bonds made from sulfur. It is these sulfur bonds that make cartilage strong, firm and resilient.
Sulfur is an important constituent of cell membranes. Where deficient, cell walls become hard and stiff, hindering the flow of fluids into and out of the cell. This prevents toxins from getting out and nutrients from getting in. It also causes pressure build-up in cells, producing inflammation and pain in joints and elsewhere in the body.
Sulfur has had a long history as a healing substance. Sulfur hot springs have eased pain and promoted healing since ancient times. Garlic's primary benefits are related to its sulfur compounds; and sulfur is one of the components of glutathione, the most important antioxidant in the human body.
Given its importance, it is surprising that relatively little scientific attention has been paid to sulfur. Although it is considered an essential nutrient, no dietary requirement has ever been specified for it. It is assumed that a diet adequate in protein will supply enough.
Yet there are those who believe that deficiencies in sulfur are rampant, and that pain and disability may be symptoms of this deficiency.


While present in fresh food, it is extremely perishable and can be destroyed by even minimal processing, such as cutting, washing and drying foods, and even more so by cooking.

Although MSM has been researched since the 1940s, and used successfully by veterinarians and pioneering alternative health practitioners for almost as long, published scientific research until quite recently has been either in a test tube or on animals. However recent human studies, primarily on using MSM to treat osteoarthritis, have been very encouraging.
In a 2006 study, arthritics took 3 grams of MSM twice a day for 12 weeks. By the end of the study, pain had been reduced 25%. An earlier study got significantly better results using a dose 2,250 mg per day:an 80% reduction in pain over 6 weeks. The differences are probably due to differences in the quality of the MSM used in the studies.
In a third study, participants took either 1500 mg/day of glucosamine, 1500 mg/day of MSM, or the two together. At the end of 12 weeks, pain in the glucosamine group was reduced 63%; in the MSM group 52%; and with the combination 79%. Also the combination group experienced quicker relief from pain and inflammation than either of the other groups.
Other studies have found 2,600 mg/day helpful in alleviating seasonal allergies, an MSM and silymarin cream helpful in managing rosacea, and that an MSM nasal spray reduced snoring.

MSM: Safe!

Because it is present in small amounts in many foods, and made in the body from amino acids like methionine and cysteine, MSM is not a molecule that is foreign to the human body. MSM is even found in human breast milk. In more than 60 years of research and use in humans and animals, there have been no published reports of allergic reactions or negative interactions with any drug, herb or nutrient. Some anecdotal reports of mild side effects, like loose stools, upset stomach or skin rashes, have cleared up as soon as MSM was discontinued. I suspect these were reactions to impurities in the MSM supplement and not to the MSM itself.
When safety tests are done, scientists determine how much of a given substance is lethal to animals. But with MSM they gave up testing when 20 grams of MSM per kilogram of body weight failed to kill any animals. MSM has a toxicity rating similar to pure water.
However even too much pure water can be harmful, and although some people take up to 100 grams of MSM a day (1,000 mg = 1 gram) without an apparent problem, we don't know what the long-term effects of such large doses might be. For most people 500 mg/day is sufficient. Specific conditions may warrant 1,000 to 6,000 mg/day.

Changing Your pH when You are Too Acidic



Changing pH actually takes some time and is usually done through food. Increase fresh veggies and fruits, lentils, nuts and seeds.

Also, I heard this but never tried it: using Umeboshi plum paste. It can be found in health food stores. Take one teaspoon every day for a week or so, then just a teaspoon every few days for maintenance. You can chase it with a little water.
This is powerfully alkalizing pickled fruit (it’s quite sour to the taste) and will bring your pH into balance quickly.

Researchers from the University of Manitoba in Canada have discovered that those who take the indigestion drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) over the long-term may increase their risk of osteoporosis and related fractures.

In a study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, researchers looked at PPI use among more than 65,000 people over the age of 50, including 15,792 who had experienced osteoporosis-related fractures of the vertebra, hip or wrist.

The use of PPIs for five years or more was correlated with a 62 percent increase in the risk of osteoporosis-related hip fractures, while use for seven years or more was correlated with a risk increase of more than 400 percent. Use of PPIs for seven or more years was also associated with a doubled risk of all osteoporosis-related fractures.

There are Better Calcium Sources than Milk

Calcium:

It is better to choose foods that are high in calcium and are not dairy products.
Dairy contains fat as well as calories, making them prohibitive to eat on a weight loss regimen. Eating some plain, unsweetened yogurt occasionally is fine.

Here are other non-dairy calcium-rich foods:

Sardines
Carrots
Green leafy vegetables such as kale, mustard greens, collards, parsley, turnip greens, beet greens, and dandelion greens
Legumes such as sprouted lentils
Fresh string beans give an ample supply of calcium .
Nuts such as almonds, filberts, and brazil nuts
Blackstrap molasses is very high in this important nutrient. Try 1 tablespoon in a half cup of warm water and drink.
Sea vegetables such as dulse, hijiki, kelp, and wakame are also good sources. (Add sprinkles to salads, and soups.)

What is "colloidal" and "ionic" silver? - True "colloidal" silver is a concentration of nano-sized (particles) of silver suspended in a liquid. True "ionic" silver is a concentration of silver (ions) suspended in a liquid.

One of the first research studies linking alopecia with celiac disease was published in 1995. Does eating more frequently really improve my metabolism?
Question: Many diets suggest eating small meals more frequently to keep the metabolism up. For example, many diet programs suggest eating 6 times a day. So why does the FBDME suggest to eat only 3 meals per day and no snacking (and the Six-Pack Diet only twice a day - I bought that book also)?
Answer: Great to hear from you! The research I have seen, and my own personal experience, does not support the myth that frequently eating small meals keeps up the metabolism any better than 2-3 meals a day. Eating frequently is a personal preference for some individuals and I find this to be a habit that can make us slaves to food. If you eat every 2-3 hours your entire day is focused on food. Your digestion can also suffer when foods are consumed too frequently. Hence, my diet plans suggest eating only 2-3 meals a day and no snacking. Snacking adds extra calories, and unless you are trying to gain weight, snacking makes no sense.

What are acceptable sources of meatless protein on your diets?
Question: I am doing the Fruit Flush and I don’t like to eat meat. Can I substitute hemp seeds for the protein in the salad at night, instead of a drink or other protein?
Answer: I classify hemp protein as a nut or seed. It is mostly fat and fiber and very little protein because of the limiting amino acid factors. You may use it like you would any other nut or seed. For meatless protein on any of my diets, I suggest cottage cheese, cheese, egg whites, whey protein, rice protein, or egg white protein.

Thimerosal on Label of H1N2 Vaccine



This is a still shot from an ABC News story: Study: Pregnant Women Hospitalized More Often For Swine Flu from Panavax, an H1N1 vaccine currently in testing (there are several.)

The label indicates that this is a multi-dose vial containing Thimerosal used as a preservative.

The Washington Post confirmed today that the swine flu vaccine, which is set to be rolled out nationwide this fall, in what some fear could ultimately become a mandatory vaccination program, will contain thimerosal, a mercury compound which is a toxin linked with autism and neurological disorders.

US Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius confirms that the Swine Flu (H1N1) Vaccine will be laced with the mercury based preservative thimerosal.

Flu vaccines have never worked in any age group. There is limited or no data on the safety and effectiveness of the swine flu vaccine especially with the new untested adjuvants.(formulated compounds, which when combined with vaccine antigens intensify the body's immune response.) Let us not be like sheep being taken to be slaughtered.

Give the right to make medical decisions back to the Patients and their Doctors! The notion of mandating an unsubstantiated injection with no clear evidence of efficacy is outrageous.

Rosacea can be an easy problem to manage with dietary changes, specifically the elimination of grains and sugars, coupled with emotional stress management.

It is rare when the rosacea of patients that visit my clinic doesn’t rapidly resolve when they follow my dietary and other all natural recommendations.

Limit Sugar and Grains.

You will want to normalize your insulin levels and one of the best ways to do this is make certain your intake of foods that will raise them like, sugar, bread, pasta, rice, corn and potatoes are kept low. Ideally it would be best to measure your fasting insulin level to determine if you are eating inappropriate amounts of these foods. Ideally your fasting insulin level should be 3 or lower.

Exercise Regularly
This will also help to normalize your insulin level and overall improve the performance of your immune system.

Eliminate Trans Fat and Processed Foods
Most people don’t realize that most of the fats in your skin cell membranes are exclusively omega-6 fats. If you consume processed foods that are loaded with damaged omega-6 fats, they will be incorporated into your cell membrane and predispose that skin cell to an increased risk of diseases like rosacea and skin cancers. You should make certain that you have a good source of omega-6 fat from organic pumpkin, sesame, or sunflower seeds, or their cold pressed oils.

Optimize Your Sun Exposure and Vitamin D Levels
When you have appropriate levels of vitamin D, your body will produce over 200 antimicrobial peptides to fight any infection in your body. If for whatever, reason you are unable to receive regular sun exposure, then you will want to take a high quality vitamin D supplement and measure your vitamin D level so it is around 50-70 ng/ml.

Eat for Your Nutritional Type
Eating the right foods for your individual needs is your best defense against dis­ease. When you fortify your body with the nutrients it requires, you strengthen your immune system and prepare it to do its job.
Your body was designed to protect and heal itself. Give it the help it needs in the form of the proper fuel for your nutritional type.

Arthritis.

Vitamin D plays an important role in the synthesis of synovial fluid, the fluid that protects joint health. Vitamin D status has been found to be protective in both osteo and rheumatoid arthritis. Autoimmune Disease.

Low levels of vitamin D have been linked with lupus, multiple sclerosis, Sjogren's Syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, thyroiditis and Crohn's disease.Cancer.

Vitamin D helps to prevent 77% of all cancers through a variety of mechanisms.

Depression.

Depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder have responded favorably to vitamin D treatment. Vitamin D regulates the production of serotonin and other important neurotransmitters.

Diabetes. Supplementing with vitamin D and calcium cuts the risk of developing diabetes by 33%. Children who receive D supplementation from the age of one have an 80% reduced risk of developing Type I diabetes. Vitamin D also improves insulin reception. Insulin resistance is a factor in not only diabetes but in heart disease and cancer.

Immunity.

Vitamin D plays an important role in the immune response and is itself an anti-viral. Vitamin D researcher J.J. Inflammation.

Vitamin D is an anti-inflammatory, helpful with allergies or any other inflammatory condition.

Muscle pain and fatigue are among the first signs of vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D improves motor function, muscle strength and maintenance of muscle mass, balance, speed, and quickness of reaction; in addition it lowers both chronic pain and pain after injury.

Elderly supplemented with vitamin D have fewer falls.

Osteoporosis.

Vitamin D plays crucial roles in calcium absorption and metabolism, and in bone building. Supplementing with both calcium and vitamin D reduces bone loss and fracture risk.

Parkinson's Disease.

Vitamin D is crucial in the production of neurotransmitters like dopamine. It has been shown to be protective against getting Parkinson's, and D-deficiency may be a major cause of this disease.
Periodontal Disease.

Low serum levels of vitamin D are associated with periodontal disease.

Women's Health.

Infertility is associated with low vitamin D status. PMS has been completely reversed by supplementing with calcium, magnesium and vitamin D. Vitamin D has been used successfully to treat polycystic ovarian syndrome, an endocrine disorder leading to irregular periods, masculinization and often obesity.

Pregnant women need more D, and unless they supplement at very high doses (4,000 IU/day), their breast milk will not be an adequate source of vitamin D for their infant child. For this reason the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends supplementation of 400 IU to all children from birth.
